With just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Leicester, Dane View Care Home accommodates up to 41 residents, dedicated in nursing, residential care and also offering respite and daycare services.

A newly refurbished care home located on leafy Glenfield Road, Dane View combines character with style, whilst possessing modern features and three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. 

Whether you’re a resident or residents’ family member, we aim to offer you peace of mind and open communication in choosing the right care home, and in order to understand what kind of care is required. Our Care

With our dedicated team we aim to offer a home-from-home environment for our residents to ensure any transition from yours to ours is as seamless as possible.

We provide a varied menu of nutritious meals for our residents by our skilled chefs, as well as catering for those with dietary requirements and other special requests. We have a beautiful apple and plum orchard which our chefs can take advantage of to use in our delicious desserts.  Our residents are able to make use of our dining rooms with beautiful views into the gardens and enjoy their meals amongst the company of others. 

We strongly believe in the importance of maintaining personal health and wellbeing here at Dane View Care Home, which is why we offer our residents activities to stimulate the mind and body. To ensure that these activities are the right kind for each individual. Are they a people person, do they prefer to carry out activities on their own? Whatever their personal preferences, we’ll ensure each of our residents needs and desires are tailored specifically to them.

Activities

There is undoubtedly an underlying theme running across many of the activities we do. Quite simply it is to 'normalise' life in our wonderful care home so that it reflects life in general. Residents coming into our care all have a history. They have skills, hobbies, passions and a desire to live a fulfilling life.

We embrace that feeling and have created a fantastically vibrant and optimistic atmosphere so that our lovely residents lead the lives they want. Some residents have become good friends with each other, but also with staff members who want to give their best for everyone at Dane View. Our team provide activities that are commensurate to the physical and mental abilities of our residents.
